Is Lack of Flexibility Affecting your Golf Swing?
Find out what it takes to restore the normal range of motion in your hips, back, hamstrings and shoulders so you are feeling refreshed and ready for your next round of golf.
With over 26 million golfers nationwide, the majority of injuries, swing flaws and constant frustration all revolve around tight and restricted muscles - all of which affect your golf swing. Haven't you had enough?
The problem is most people keep blaming themselves as though it is their fault for hitting thin or fat shots, spraying balls left and right or not getting their ball in the air. Well, hopefully, I finally have good news that will make you feel better. In most of these cases, your body is only producing the swing it can within its current range of motion. In other words, change your range of motion and change your swing.
Most golfers
are aware of how important flexibility is to their golf swing.

Is Drive Distance a Constant Source
of Frustration for You
No kidding! It is for so many golfers. And, why does it have to feel so difficult sometimes? The real problem with achieving drive distance has nothing to do with the club you selected! Most typically, it is tight shoulders which don't allow you to make a proper back swing and leave distance behind with an incomplete follow through position. Other times, it is one of the most common tight areas I see in the mid back. Would you believe this is the number one reason most golfers can't seem to make a proper golf swing?
And, I’m not just talking about amateurs. This
is true for the pros also.
Here are some of the things that may be affecting your golf swing and how the
ball travels after you hit it.You may have one or more of these common swing
flaws, but do you know why?
P Reverse
Pivot: Often times the result of poor spinal rotation or poor hip rotation
P Lateral
shift in your back swing or forward swing: Generally related to the need for
more flexibility in the hips
P Lack of
drive distance because you can’t get enough shoulder turn: Almost always
the result of a tight mid back!
Did you also know that the Centinela
Hospital in California did a study on golfers and found less skilled players
used HALF the trunk rotation of the pro? We always knew they had a
secret. But, what if you increased your trunk rotation with specific
stretches targeted for this area, would you play any better?

This stretch guide is fantastic! I can’t believe with everybody
talking about how important flexibility is that nobody has put
out something this comprehensive, but easy to use at the same
time.
It’s not quite warm enough to see how this translates to my game
yet, but I’ll keep you posted. However, I can tell you I have
been using your stretches for the past week and I feel better
than I’ve felt in a really long time.
I can
visualize those long drives already!

I have known for a long time that I needed a better shoulder
turn. In fact, I got sick of hearing it. I could see what I was
doing wrong, but just wasn’t sure how to fix it. I grabbed just
three of your stretches and I am already hitting it 10 yards
further. Look how easy that was…I am making a better shoulder
turn and now I can go the distance. Go figure.

I have been waiting for a book just like this. I hate to sound
so lazy, but I never really liked exercising and seem to have to
work really hard to get motivated to go to the gym like other
people. But now, I can just pull out a handful of stretches in
the evening and get them done while watching the Golf Channel or
something else. It’s made a huge difference in my swing already.
I’ve been working towards scratch and I may finally get
there.

Keeping You Injury Free While Enhancing Your
Playing Performance with Every Round!
One of
the easiest ways to keep injuries at bay is to stretch those areas that are
tight and are causing the disruptions in your swing. Only through proper
stretching and exercise can your muscles heal correctly from injury, giving you
more mobility and freedom of movement.
Why
stop being physically fit because you have back pain? Why stop enjoying the
things you like to do because you're afraid it will only injure your back
further? Take charge of your life and your health. Don’t succumb to
these typical golf injuries. Have you read the latest on these common injuries
in golf?
ü
The
number one injury for male amateur golfers is the lower back
ü
Women
suffer from pain in the elbows followed by pain in their lower back
ü
Most
common injury sites are the low back, elbows, shoulders, hands and wrists
And, what about your golf
swing? There are four main factors that control the flight of the ball…
|
s Swing
Plane |
s Clubface Alignment |
|
s
Angle of Attack |
s
Club Head Speed |
Would you believe
flexibility can play a role in all four of these factors?
